About Us

Welcome friends and thank you for your interest.

The Asheville Wesleyan Church is a welcoming historic church in the heart of vibrant West Asheville neighborhood of our city. Our community is diverse and ever changing. We certainly long to embrace that diversity and minister the Gospel to all those who seek Jesus Christ. And we have been doing just that for over 100 years now!

As a congregation we strive to make Christ attractive in our heads, from our hearts, and with our hands. We seek to help people find a love for Christ intellectually and help them understand His love and plan for their lives. We seek to facilitate worship of Christ from our heart the deepest part of our being. And we also seek to make Christ attractive with our hands by reaching out and caring for our community. All are certainly welcome to come and to get involved as we share the love of Christ and Christian fellowship together.

We welcome you to join us for worship!

I was a memeber of this church back in the late 70’s. I still remember the good times we had in worship there.
